The Other Alex is a slow-burn Minecraft horror mod where Alex slowly becomes part of your survival world.
She listens to what you say, notices how you play, and remembers certain things about your world. But she does not just watch from a distance. She can haunt your caves, leave signs behind you, knock on your doors, mimic players, make mobs stare, replay your voice, and appear when you are least prepared.
Mining, sleeping, building, walking home, or opening a door can stop feeling normal. Alex is not there to throw random jumpscares at you. She is there to make your own Minecraft world feel like it no longer belongs entirely to you.
The API setup is what lets Alex understand what players say and respond with interactions that feel less repetitive and scripted.
Alex's events, personality, and behavior are still written and controlled by the mod. The AI does not invent random gameplay or turn Alex into an unrestricted chatbot.
Both services support multiple languages, not only English.
To enable voice recognition, AI responses, and conversations with Alex, you must obtain:
Setup only takes a few minutes:
Without these keys, Alex will still exist and normal events will still work, but she will use pre-generated responses instead of understanding voice conversations or creating varied contextual replies.

This mod depends on a lot of other mods to shine.
Please support the creators of the external horror mods this mod integrates with.
Their work helps make this experience possible.
Donations help keep development alive.
I am an independent developer from a lower-income country, so even small support helps me keep working on updates, fixes, and new content.
Missing optional mods should not break the mod. They may only change how some events appear, or whether some events happen at all.
For the best experience, install the required dependencies and as many of the supported horror mods as you want to fully activate the intended atmosphere.
Special thanks to Calvin and the From The Fog series for a lot of the inspiration behind this mod.
