These... are The Blocks We Need! This mod aims to combat the oh-so-useless limitations of blocks that Mojang hasn't added (for some reason). Ever wonder why some bricks have chiseled versions and not others? Or why theres a nether brick fence and not a fencegate, or a red nether brick fence?! This mod fixes that
We've got broken glass for abandoned buildings, fancy new chiseled bricks, colored planks, and (hopefully) everything that you builders need! I even added sideways stairs and vertical slabs. Though, in this mod, they are called 'slopes' and 'panels' respectively. All existing stairs and slabs have slope and panel versions, along with some for new blocks added. This mod was created not differ from the vanilla game, but to add blocks that should've been there in the first place, and although some creative liberties were taken, its to nothing crazy.
There are also some new generated features! Stone and deepslate quartz ore, along with a mossy/flowering version of every tree. Also since new magma was added, I needed a way for you to get it. So a common underground structure is the magma chamber, but be wary! It is filled to the brim with hot lava. But be careful and you can get some of the new cooled magma and scoria, which is a type of igneous rock which forms from fully cooled magma.
Lastly, for the mod content itself, I re-added some old blocks! Blocks like the Nether reactor core and ruby, along with the original rose, yellow flower, and cyan flower. Those last 3 naturally generate throughout the world. Ruby had its texture updated to fit modern standards (while keeping the feel of the original) along with getting a deepslate version and other versions to match the other valuable block updates in this mod. Sadly, the Nether reactor core is just a fancy light, although it also acts like a redstone block.
P.S. - This mod, despite me being a creative builder, is survival friendly! All blocks are obtainable or have crafting recipes.
