TerminaPaul's Ruby is a mod that expands the world with a new ruby progression system and a unique mountain biome.
Ruby Ore generates in mountainous areas, now including a custom Calcite Mountain Biome featuring naturally spawning cherry trees. Unlike emeralds, rubies currently do not have a villager trading purpose (this may be added in a future update).
This update introduces a new ruby processing mechanic. Instead of being instantly rewarding, rubies must be struck with the Obsidian Hammer to break them into Ruby Nuggets, adding a more interactive way to obtain ruby materials.
The mod now includes Ruby, Ruby Ore (including a Deepslate Ruby Ore variant), Ruby Block, Ruby Ingot, Ruby Nugget, Iron Stick, and Obsidian Hammer, expanding crafting possibilities and strengthening ruby progression.
The Ruby Block remains a decorative option, offering builders a warm red alternative to other mineral blocks while fitting naturally into mountainous environments.
