I greet you, comrade, on the official page of the Soviet Era Projecton CurseForge. Soviet Era is a mod inspired by urbantourism and late Soviet architecture.
I'm currently developing my own experimental project in Rust, a voxel 3D engine integrating best practices from Minecraft game mods – the TECHPIXEL project. This project is an experiment in using AI in serious development. I invite anyone interested to fork it and code some features.

Soviet Era 2 is a new version of the modification widely known in narrow circles, which adds a huge number of decorative and functional blocks for the construction of your own post-Soviet city or ghost town or an entire state. The style, atmosphere, color and emotional range of the modification is inspired by the not widely known urban exploration movement - urban research, which the author of the fashion is fond of.
Many mistakenly assume that the modification is inspired by the genre of the Soviet post-apocalypse, the games STALKER and Metro 2033. In part, by about 5%, this is true and has a distant similarity in some aspects.
However, in reality, the modification has somewhat deeper roots, from which projects such as Metro or STALKER grow. This is exploration, atmosphere, exploration and adventure in painfully familiar locations.
Soviet Era 2 is more than just a decorative mod. It was created and born by accumulating the capabilities of modern versions of Forge and Minecraft, and is also the quintessence of my programming art at the moment.
Many mod blocks have unique mechanics that you won't find anywhere else individually, and some won't find at all.

Attention! OptiFine developers are crooked-armed idiots, so the light from the lamps from the modification will not work if you use OptiFine on version 1.16.5. I recommend using Rubidium for optimization instead of OptiFine.
