Welcome to the very first release of Sloby's Ore's! This mod expands the vanilla Minecraft experience by introducing a powerful new resource tier, complete with custom tools, unique mining mechanics, and a brand-new progression path for your survival world.
Whether you are a casual explorer or a hardcore survivalist, this mod brings a fresh challenge to your mining expeditions and combat preparation.
Deep beneath the surface lies the glowing Sloby Ore. However, harvesting it requires proper equipment.
Iron Tier Restriction: To harvest Sloby, you must use an Iron Pickaxe or better. Mining it with wooden or stone tools will cause the ore to shatter into nothingness, yielding absolutely nothing!
Deep Earth Generation: Spawns naturally in the lower stone and deepslate layers of the world, offering a perfect reward for dedicated miners.
Fortune Interaction: Fully compatible with the Fortune enchantment. Use it to maximize your Raw Sloby yield!
Mining the ore rewards you with Raw Sloby. Take your raw materials back to your base and smelt them in a standard Furnace or a high-efficiency Blast Furnace to turn them into heavy-duty Sloby Ingots.
Turn your hard-earned ingots into top-tier tools engineered for late-game survival:
⚔️ Sloby Sword: Crafted using high-purity ingots. Features exceptional attack speed and devastating damage output, standing tall alongside the classic Diamond tier.
⛏️ Sloby Pickaxe: A powerhouse utility tool. Boasts extreme mining speed and comes out of the box with Harvest Level 3 capabilities, allowing you to slice through Obsidian and ancient debris with ease. Fully repairable at an anvil using Sloby Ingots.
Locate: Find and mine Sloby Ore using an Iron Pickaxe (or higher).
Smelt: Cook Raw Sloby in any furnace to obtain a Sloby Ingot.
Craft: Use standard vanilla layout patterns in the Crafting Table to forge your Sloby Sword and Sloby Pickaxe (using sticks and Sloby Ingots).
