SkyMythicalCreatures Origins
A custom Origins addon for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1, designed primarily for Modpacks, but fully playable as a standalone addon as well.
This mod adds 7 unique Origins, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities, creating new ways to experience survival, PvP, and progression.
Requirements
Origins:
Pixie
A small and agile fairy-like creature.
Advantages
- Can fly and glide
- Faster movement speed
- Immune to fall damage
- Can jump 2 blocks high
- Can walk on water
Neutral
Disadvantages
- Only 6 hearts
- Cannot use rockets while flying
Dragon
A powerful and imposing beast.
Advantages
- 15 hearts
- Can step up blocks up to 2 blocks high
- Increased block reach and attack range
- Fire Breath: Deals 2 hearts of damage and ignites targets (1.5s cooldown)
- Dragon Strength: Grants Strength III for 20 seconds (90s cooldown) at the cost of 6 hearts
Neutral
Disadvantages
- Increased hunger consumption
- Cannot use shields
Siren
Master of the oceans and waterways.
Advantages
- Faster underwater mining
- Can breathe underwater
- Enhanced underwater vision
- Faster swimming speed
- Constant regeneration while submerged in water
- Siren Song: Nearby mobs ignore you for 10 seconds (except bosses) (75s cooldown)
- Ocean's Blessing: Heals 3 hearts and temporarily improves trading prices with Moon-Residents (from Ad Astra) (30s cooldown)
Neutral
- Does not sink in water unless sneaking
Disadvantages
- Cannot naturally regenerate health on land
- Takes significantly more fire damage
Dwarf
A sturdy miner and craftsman.
Advantages
- Can mine stone with bare hands
- Faster mining speed
- Dwarven Resilience: Fully heals and grants Haste II for 90 seconds (3 minute cooldown)
- Toggleable Night Vision
Neutral
- 1 block tall but wider than a normal player
Disadvantages
- Cannot swim and instead walks underwater
Demon
A creature born of the Nether.
Advantages
- Fire Resistance
- Deals Instant Damage I to nearby targets while burning
- Increased damage while on fire
- Can swim through lava
- 15 hearts in the Nether
- 9 hearts outside the Nether
- Increased movement speed
- Slightly increased damage in the Nether
- Fire Breath: Deals 2 hearts of damage and ignites targets (1.5s cooldown)
Neutral
- Undead: Healing potions harm you, harming potions heal you, and Smite deals additional damage
Disadvantages
- Takes damage from water and rain
Valkyrie
A warrior empowered by battle.
Advantages
- Deals 25% more damage with Valkyrie weapons and tools
- Gains movement speed from defeating mobs, scaling up to 1000 kills
- Divine Leap: Launches 60 blocks into the air and grants nearby players Regeneration II and Strength I upon landing (60s cooldown)
Shulker
A durable traveler with unique storage capabilities.
Advantages
- Can mine stone with bare hands
- Additional 3x3 inventory that is retained on death
- Permanent +4 armor points
- Blink: Teleports like an Ender Pearl without taking damage (1.5s cooldown)
Disadvantages
- Cannot use shields
- Increased hunger consumption
