Adds five new materials: Rose Quartz, Ancient Iron, Etherealite, and two Deepmetals; in addition to backporting copper gear from 1.21.9.
Rose Quartz:
Crafted from two gold ingots and four quartz, this nether alloy acts as an in-between of iron and diamond. It has the tool strength of iron and similar protection to diamond, although lacking armor toughness.
Rose Quartz can be bartered to piglins who are willing to give different items in exchange for the illustrious material. Four new items can be obtained from bartering in this way, each having alternate methods to obtaining them.
Ancient Iron:
Whatever metals were used to forge this long-lost alloy are mined entirely out of the earth. It exists only in a shattered form, found scattered in chests across all dimensions. These can be smelted down into nuggets and made into ingots, which can be fused with iron gear in a smithing table to make ancient iron, an in-between of diamond and netherite. The smithing template is found in ancient cities.
Ancient Iron gear has durability that surpasses netherite and it shares its armor toughness, but its base protection value is slightly less than diamond. Ancient Iron ingots can also be obtained by crafting with a heavy core.
Etherealite:
Beneath the end islands lies Ruinous ore, which requires a diamond pickaxe to mine and can be smelted into ruinous essence, further proccessed into Etherealite Ingots. These can be made into a tool set or dragon scale armor, both requiring scales that drop from the dragon. Wearing the full set grants strength. The ender dragon does not drop enough scales for the full set, so it will need to be defeated at least three times.
Etherealite gear is an alternative to netherite, providing less high stats but having extraordinary enchantability.
Deepmetals:
Two resilient ores lie deep below: Adamantine and Mithril. Both can be rendered into scrap by smelting their raw form in an Ancient Crucible, and the scrap can be crafted with an infernal alloy(made with smelting cinderstone, located in blackstone) for adamantine and etherealite for mithril. The upgrades for adamantine and mithril are located in ominous trail vaults and end city chests respectively. Adamantine upgrades netherite and mithril upgrades etherealite. Adamantine has remarkable strength and never breaks; while mithril moves quickly and the armor grants speed.
