ShadowsZ brings the iconic necromancy abilities of the Shadow Monarch from Solo Leveling straight into Minecraft — no leveling system, just pure shadow army gameplay.
As a fan of compatibility and flexibility, this mod is highly configurable: tweak max shadow count, arising difficulty, cooldowns, entity blacklists, and more.
Bind Shadow Eyes in your keybinds to reveal the shadows of fallen entities nearby. Shift + right-click a shadow to attempt Shadow Arising — you get 3 chances to succeed. Fail all three and the shadow vanishes forever. Wild shadows despawn after 5 minutes if not claimed.
Arising chance is calculated from the entity's max HP and your current Mana — more Mana means better odds, higher HP means harder conversion. All fully tweakable via config.
The player has a special inventory accesible from keybinds (default Y) that works like an ender chest. If the shadows are set to collect items, this items will go to the shadow storage.
## Shadow Inventory
Access your Shadow Inventory directly from your survival inventory. From here you can:
Name your shadows
Assign keybinds for quick individual summoning
Set behavior modes: Wander / Follow / Stay
Set combat stances: Aggressive / Passive / Neutral
Toggle item pickup per shadow
Permanently release shadows when storage is full
Level up your shadows
Shadows load chunks — set them to Aggressive in a farm and they'll collect items automatically (if pickup is enabled)
Shadows have their own inventory and can carry loot
Special entity interactions: Evokers summon Shadow Vexes, Witches attempt to heal the player
Tameable entities become tamed upon conversion — claim a wild horse and it becomes a fully tamed Shadow Horse, keeping its saddle and armor even after death
If another player's pet is killed by you, it becomes your tamed shadow
If you die, all active shadows are automatically stored
