Sable: True Impact, or TI for short, is an experimental physics damage mod for Minecraft. It is built around Sable physical structures, with planned and partial integration for Create and Create Aeronautics.
TI makes large moving structures feel heavier and more dangerous. High-energy impacts can damage terrain, crack blocks, and fracture physical structures based on impact force, material strength, and configurable damage rules.
This gamma release is a public preview. It is meant for testing, screenshots, feedback, and early gameplay experiments rather than stable long-term survival worlds.
This mod is still experimental.
Please back up your worlds before using it. TI can destroy terrain and structures by design, and some edge cases may still behave unexpectedly.
Known limitations in the current gamma version include imperfect force transmission through large structures, unfinished internal stress simulation, incomplete long-term material fatigue, and possible compatibility issues with some Create-related mods or large modpacks.
TI is best used in creative testing worlds, physics test maps, destruction experiments, and early modpack compatibility testing.
For survival or server use, start with conservative config values and test the mod in a backup world first.
Future versions aim to expand TI from an impact-damage mod into a deeper physical destruction system.
Planned work includes improved collision sampling, better material toughness, internal stress transfer, force transmission through structures, realistic crack propagation, friction damage, soft-terrain deformation, explosion shockwaves, particles, sound effects, and more believable large-scale destruction.
TI will remain public and free. There will be no paywall for the mod or its core features.
