Hello everyone! This is my first project.
What started as a simple mod to play with friends eventually grew into something much bigger. I spent around 6 months working on it while learning Java from scratch, coming from a JavaScript background.
This project is far from perfect, but it represents the prototype and foundation of what I want to continue building in the future.
Please note that everything listed below is only a small part of what the mod currently contains.
The intended way to play Progressive RPG is through the official modpack:
The modpack includes the required datapacks, configs, balance changes, and compatible mod versions.
It also modifies various aspects of progression to better fit the overall design of Progressive RPG.

Using the datapack is highly recommended, as some mechanics and balance changes were designed with it in mind.
Progressive RPG is mainly designed for multiplayer servers.
It can be played in singleplayer, but the intended experience is cooperative and multiplayer-oriented.
This mod was built around the RPG Series ecosystem and many other RPG mods. We love the work done by Daedelus Dev, and many mechanics were designed specifically to integrate with those mods and create a deeper RPG experience.

For the best experience, I strongly recommend downloading the modpack instead of installing the mod alone, since Progressive RPG was designed around the full RPG Horizons setup, including configs, datapacks, integrations, and balance changes.

Detects excessive mob farming and can apply penalties, including sending players to jail.
Progressive RPG adds and modifies many attributes, including:
Available mainly in the spawn area.
Players can buy and sell mod items, as well as many vanilla items.
Resources such as diamonds and ores can have levels, increasing their value depending on the danger of the zone where they were obtained.
A custom protection block designed to secure player territories.
Since the pack uses harder mobs and mods where enemies can destroy blocks, I created this system to give players safe areas.
Physical armor and magical resistance formulas have been completely redesigned.
Several vanilla and modded effects have also been adjusted.

These effects scale with the zone level or the attacker's level.
Mechanics such as Witcher RPG's Adrenaline have also been rebalanced to reward character progression rather than simple spamming.
Backpack mods are intentionally unsupported.
Instead, the mod provides two additional inventory pages that can be unlocked using the mod currency.
You no longer drop all your items when dying.
Instead, players may lose:
Your hotbar, off-hand, armor, and accessory slots are protected.
Currency is connected to almost every progression mechanic:
Chests have internal levels from 1 to 100 and five rarities:
Higher rarity and level mean better rewards.
Certain nights provide experience bonuses.
Special potions can also increase experience gain.
The mod includes upgrade materials for:
RPG items never disappear when broken.
Instead, they become damaged and must be repaired using materials and currency.
Unused items can be sold through the Auction House.
Mobs have their own:
Creating a more RPG-oriented progression system.
Mounts and companions have their own progression systems and special mechanics.
No more arguing about loot.
The party system automatically distributes rewards between players.
Players receive 3 attribute points per level, allowing full character customization.
The longer you survive without dying, the stronger the bonuses become.
