A simple mod that adds a new way to get netherite :
4 platinum blocks and 4 gold ingots --crafting-shapeless--> 1 unfinished netherite ingot
1 unfinished netherite ingot --smelting--> 1 netherite ingot
Platinum Ores (Stone and Deepslate) spawn between y=64 and y=-64.
