Nucreate

Nucreate is a small Minecraft addon focused on nuclear technology and radiation. Mine uranium, refine it into enriched fuel, manage dangerous radioactive materials, and harness nuclear heat to power your machines.

Features

Ores

• Uranium Ore naturally generates only in the deepslate layers and is quite rare.
• Lead Ore also generates exclusively in the deepslate layers, but is much more common.

Radiation System

• A Geiger Counter allows players to detect nearby radiation levels.
• Enriched Uranium Nuggets and Enriched Uranium Ingots are highly radioactive materials. They emit radiation while stored in player inventories and even inside chests.
• Lead Blocks can be used to contain and block radiation, making them essential for safe storage and reactor design.

Enriched Uranium Blocks

The Enriched Uranium Block is the core feature of the mod. It is an extremely radioactive block that can exist in four different activity states:

• Semi-Active – Produces a small amount of heat and low radiation.
• Active – Produces moderate heat and stronger radiation.
• Super-Active – Produces enough heat to push steam engines into an overheated state.
• Critical – Emits massive amounts of heat and radiation.

As the activity level increases, both heat production and radiation range become more dangerous. This allows players to generate large amounts of passive heat almost for free.

However, reaching the Critical state is extremely risky. Any nearby Enriched Uranium Blocks will also become Critical, potentially triggering a catastrophic chain reaction that ends in a powerful explosion.

Hazmat Protection

A full set of Netherite Scuba Gear provides complete protection against radiation as long as the player still has air available.

Nuclear Enchantments

Unique enchantments can be obtained by dropping any enchanted book near a Critical Enriched Uranium Block. The radiation may transform it into one of the following rare enchantments:

Rad Eater

Every armor piece must have this enchantment for its effects to work.

• Level I – Grants complete immunity to radiation.
• Level II – Armor slowly repairs itself when exposed to radiation.
• Level III – The player regenerates health when exposed to radiation.

Radioactive

Every armor piece must have this enchantment for its effects to work.

• Level I – Grants complete immunity to radiation.
• Level II – The player emits radiation in a small area around them.
• Level III – The player emits stronger and more lethal radiation over a larger area.

Synergy

Rad Eater and Radioactive can be combined, allowing players to become both immune to radiation and a walking source of nuclear contamination.
