Description

This mod is similar to my other mod, Sift, but it's a configurable Crucible. Here's an example of the config file to get an idea of how it works:

# Configuration file

general {
# This will determine how much of an item must be placed in the Crucible before the item(s) can melt. Use 1, 2, 4, or 8.
I:"Crucible Capacity"=4

# These are the items/blocks that can be placed in the crucible.
S:inputs <
minecraft:cobblestone:0
minecraft:stone:0
>

# These are the liquids that the crucible will output.
S:outputs <
minecraft:lava:0
minecraft:lava:0
>
}

heat_sources {
# These are the blocks that are placed under the crucible to melt it's contents.
S:"Heat Sources" <

minecraft:lava:0

minecraft:torch:0

minecraft:magma:0

minecraft:fire:0
>

# The rates at which the heat sources can melt contents of crucible. Higher numbers take longer. 1 - 2,147,483,647
S:"Melt Times" <

}

You can modify the Crucible's capacity, add meltable blocks and their corresponding liquid form, and add blocks that can heat the Crucible and configure how hot each one is.

Liquids are added with their block form.

Modpacks:

You are free to use this mod in any public or personal modpack.

Future plans:

        Make the Crucible emit light if the liquid inside should.

        Forge Ore Dictionary support for the config.

        Add bucket scoop sound when removing liquid from the crucible.
