Each gem has either a perk or an ability. An example of a gem with an ability is the blaze gem, that when used, spews out fire like a flame thrower!
An example of a gem with a perk is the cod gem, that when in your inventory, you passively get saturation when underwater!
You have to get the mob drops of your desired mob and put it in the gem infuser surrounding a gem base.
(Ex. Allay Gem)
Put a diamond in the center of the crafting table, and then surround it with 4 quartz.
This mod also has JEI compat.
