Description
Levlrs Status Window -
What is it? -
It's a mod that allows the player to upgrade their stats(In theory infinitely) in a status window using ability points which can be gathered by getting exp.
What is in it?-
-There's a range of stats including: Constitution(Con), Strength(Str), Agility(Agi), Dexterity(Dex), Luck(Luc), Defense(Def), Intelligence(Int), Immunity(Imm)
-There's traits, which is something that's selected at the beginning of the players journey, depending on the trait, they can make u more versed at a certain stat. For example, the "Strong" trait boosts the player's Str trait by 2x. Using the Random Trait feature in the trait menu can give u a better trait that enhances you in multiple stats, the "Athletic" trait makes it so Str and Agi are 2x. the multiplier doesnt get larger than 2x. Although, there are rarer traits that boost even more of the players stats.
-In the status window you can view the players name, age(in minecraft time),trait , exp, exp requirement, ability points, and stats.
-There's a few items that are pretty cool, a exp tablet, which when given some of the listed nbts can do things when the player clicks it: exp, ability, oneuse, totem, cooldown. EX: /give @p levlrs:exptab{exp:10,totem:1,cooldown:3}
-There's another item called the World Item and it basically resets the entire Levlrs Mod for the player that uses it, it's similar to the command /lvlclear, uses the item on right click.
-The last item is the Levlrs Block, I believe its broken right now... I gotta fix it.. but its intended use is to give or set exp or ability points when the player steps on it, you can place it easier by using the /lvledit command
-There's some useful commands that you can use including: /lvlchange, /lvledit, /lvlclear, /lvldebug
/lvlchange is a command that doesn't require permissions, it can be used by any player. It is used to change the players lvl to a more playable one. For example if the player has a super high agility level and is zooming around, it may be hard to do certain things within the game, therefore the /lvlchange command lets the player move their lvl down, so in this example the player would move at a more playable speed. The command used for the example would be /lvlchange agi 10, that would set the players speed to that of a lvl 10 player, they can always set it back up if they want, it is just a temporary change.
/lvledit is a command that requires cheats or operator, it allows the player to edit their exp, expr, or ability, ability is short for ability points, and expr is short for exp requirement. You can give or set them. an example of the commands would be: /lvledit give exp 100 or /lvledit set exp 100.
/lvledit has another special feature called block, it allows you to set a Levlrs block with certain settings (this works, but the block doesnt work at the moment.), an example would be /lvledit block set 10 0 0 0. The order of the numbers correlate to: ability, exp, set ability, set exp.
/lvldebug requires cheats, it doesn't work on servers at the moment, basically its a gui version of the command /lvledit give exp (amount), the /lvledit command does work on servers so use that instead, /lvldebug is single player only.
The stats change the following:
Con: changes players max health
Str: changes players base damage
Agi: changes players base speed(lvl 100 bonus: teleportation, distance is based on lvls past 100)
Dex: changes players base attack speed(lvl 30 bonus: Haste, lvl increases by 1 every 30 lvls)
Luc: changes players base luck(lvl 50 bonus: Survivor, gives a chance to give the player regen 8 after taking damage, chance increases with lvl of Luc)
Def: changes players base armor(lvl 100 bonus: Resistance, lvl increases by 1 every 100 lvls)
Int: gives the player a exp multiplier, grows with lvl(lvl 100 bonus: double ability points, gives 2x ability points for every 1 gained)
Imm: gives the player immunity to certain effects, gives more immunity to different effects every 20 levels, you can also get some good effects at high levels.
There's also a little thing below the cursor that shows how much exp you got when you do something, although it doesn't show the exp gained with Int multiplier because I haven't added that yet.
Is it epic?-
Yes...
Is it still in development?-
Yes, there are still some issues and things that can be added, so I'm still workinggg on ittt...
This is just a version of the mod for you to play while you wait for the final version to come out... kinda like a teaser....
Does it work on servers??-
Yes! However, there are some bugs... hopefully they shouldn't impact the experience enough for you to notice. The bugs that I've already found are mainly operator lvl permission stuff... so if you just want to play it normally there shouldn't be any issues, if there is any issues comment it and let me know.
What version is it for?-
It's for 1.16.5 because that versions cool and has a lot of mods that it'd go well with. The version that it won't change, so it won't be for any higher or lower versions of Minecraft.
