Unleash the true power of snow golems with the Golem Snowball Damage Mod! By default, Minecraft’s snow golems are more of a cute distraction than a serious line of defense. This mod changes that entirely—turning snow golems into formidable ranged allies capable of inflicting real damage on enemies.
Snowball Damage: Enable damage for snowballs thrown by snow golems. You can configure exactly how much damage they do. Default is 3.0, but you're free to tweak it to suit your balance.
Fire Damage Bonus: Snowballs that pass through fire or lava can be configured to gain bonus fire damage, dealing extra harm to mobs—perfect for infernal-themed arenas or traps.
Fully Configurable: Using the in-game config menu (via a mod menu like Cloth Config), adjust values on the fly—no file editing required.
Enable Snowball Damage: Toggle the entire system on or off.
Snowball Damage Value: Set the base damage to snowballs (e.g., 3.0).
Enable Fire Damage Bonus: Turn on extra damage if snowballs pass through fire.
Fire Damage Bonus: Choose how much bonus damage is dealt (e.g., 2.0).
Under the Targeting Settings tab, you can control exactly who snow golems hurt:
Damage Hostile Mobs – Turn this on to let snow golems help fight zombies, skeletons, creepers, etc.
Damage Players – For PvP servers or chaotic fun.
Damage Snow Golems – Enable for snow golem duels!
Damage Passive Mobs – Let your golems be true terrors, even against chickens.
Turret Towers: Mount snow golems on watchtowers or battlements for an automated turret system. They’ll rain icy death on mobs below, and when combined with fire-based setups (like lava windows or netherrack flame pits), the fire damage bonus can melt through even the toughest enemies.
Base Defense: Line your walls with golems to create an automated perimeter defense system. With their damage enabled, they can thin out enemy waves before they reach your gate.
This mod brings utility and combat value to one of Minecraft’s most overlooked mobs. Whether you're building traps, defending your village, or just looking for some frosty chaos, Golem Snowball Damage makes snow golems a force to be reckoned with.
