Extra Worlds is a dimension mod which as the mod says, adds extra dimensions. The dimensions included are the base dimensions in minecraft which are the overworld, nether and end. All these dimensions can be accesed using portals in their respective dimension. The portals also can be any size.
Before installing the mod into your world, please bare in mind that custom dimension generation is highly experimental and the world could stop working at anytime. Remember to back up your world frequently to prevent loosing any important data.
To get started with the mod, you need to create a portal in the mirror dimension.
This is the overworld portal which requires oak wood for the frame and a water bucket to ignite. This portal must be created in the overworld.
This is the nether portal which requires netherrack for the frame and a lava bucket to ignite. This portal must be created in the nether.
This is the end portal which requires endstone for the frame and a eye of ender to ignite. This portal must be created in the end.
