Description

Description:
Extra Coal is a simple mod that re-adds Cactus and Sugar Charcoal/Coke known from the outdated "Plugins for Forestry"-Mod (MC 1.5.2) as well as various other coal-related items.
It allows you to process sugar and cactus in a Coke Oven to produce different kinds of coal which can be used as a fuel source.
Custom charcoal and coke isn't as good as normal coal, but it's still a good fuel source since it's easier to farm and automate.
It also adds tools made out of coal. Coal tools are better than stone tools and worse than iron tools.
They can be used as fuel source in any furnace, but are also vulnerable to fire. The tools will burn down if your player starts to catch fire.

Default Burn Time:
Cactus/Sugar Charcoal: 400 ticks (2 Items)
Cactus/Sugar Coke: 800 ticks (4 Items)
Normal Coal/Charcoal: 1.600 ticks (8 Items)

Charcoal Blocks and Coke Blocks are more efficient than single pieces of charcoal/coke.

Compatibility:
The mod has a built-in Coke Oven, but you can also use the Coke Oven from Railcraft or Immersive Engineering.
Processing coal will also yield Creosote Oil (Only true for the RC & IE Coke Oven).
All coal items are registered as fuel and work fine in generators from other mods like TE, EnderIO, IC2 or Extra Utilities.
Extra Coal supports the recipe viewer Just Enough Items (JEI).
