The ore finder can tell you if there is an ore below the right clicked block. Each tier has its own maximum finding-depth and durability.
The flying staff, well, lets you fly. It also disables any fall damage whilst holding it, but make sure your still holding it when landing!
The fire staff lets your shoot very powerful fire balls. But beware, you might kill yourself with bad aim!
