Dark Stuff is a small mod which adds magic and darkness into the world of Minecraft.
The mod features mobs, biomes, items, blocks and more.
All Dark Stuff mobs spawn only in the Lands of Magic biome regardless of light level.
All items from the mod used for recipes/soul fusion/dark rituals can be found as a drop from a mob in the Lands of Magic biome.
1.16 Documentation:
- Most of Dark Stuff for 1.16 is contained in the Lands of Magic Biome. There great riches and dangers await. It is recommended to have at least a full diamond set before entering!
- The crafting of most items has been moved from a crafting table to either the Dark Altar or Soul Infuser. Here are the Recipes:
- All crafting items are either 1. Crafted; 2. Found as drops from mobs in the LoM biome; 3. Found in Lost Cemeteries (Small stone buildings spawning in the world).
- Soul - dropped from Dark Knights in LoM;
- Dark Gem - dropped from Dark Magicians in LoM;
- Occult/Cursed Writing/Codex - dropped from Masters of the Occult in LoM;
- Ghost Writing - found in Lost Cemeteries (Very Rare);
- Becoming a ghost is now a feature in 1.16. You need to use the Soul Infuser to alter the Ghost Writing into an Ancient spell and sleep in a bed while it is in your inventory or hotbar.
- Ghosts have many benefits during nighttime and in dark places meanwhile are very miserable during Daytime or near brightly lit places.
- Ghosts can phase in and out of their physical remains with the hotkey bound to "Unphysical Presence".
- Ghosts can use the special powers of the Ghost Sword.
- Ghosts can't carry Holy Salt without taking damage and are highly susceptible to damage dealt with a Holy Crucifix.
- One can stop being a ghost by finding a special structure (spawning in the overworld surface) and stepping on its pressure plate.
