Bygone Land is a mod that adds a whole new dimension, Tartarus, with a progression, new bosses, dungeons and enemies.

Tartarus is a once blooming and technically advanced world now trapped in total darkness of endless void, locked between the Overworld, the Nether and the End, ruined by a terryfying experiment it is now withered and devastated. On the wreckage of Tartarian civilization their machines have gone insane and its people reduced into the soulless corrupted undead.

To enter Tartarus you must get a lost key from a wither skeleton (5% chance to drop) and find a portal frame made out of bedrock in the Overworld. As of now (beta 0.1.0), five biomes are available: Fadestone Valley, Basalt Mountains, Shimmering Grove, Desert of Rust and Scarlet Crags.

Known issues:

Incorrect Basalt Mountains generation near Scarlet Crags

A portal may not work when activated. To fix this problem you must rejoin the world (did not test it in multiplayer)
Particles from Railgun, Trembler and Annihilator may sometimes display incorrectly
Some mobs do not spawn as intended

What means Verified?
