ArmorNormalizer is a weird plugin which's initial purpose was to make armors reduce the same amount of damage. But it accomplishes that by letting the you configure how much damage which is reduced by armor does. The main purpose of this plugin is for servers which aren't combat-focused and which enforce or suggest a texture pack. That way, if for example your texture pack have makes it so different armors represent different teams in a minigame, no team will be advantaged by having a better armor. This is a configuration file based plugin.
The configuration file by default looks like this :
#sets all damage to that value, can be set to -1 so it doesn't override damage override: -1 sharpness damage per level: 0 hand damage: 6 arrow full: 9 arrow medium: 6 arrow low: 1 #example for specific item: IRON_SWORD: 4 DIAMOND_SWORD: 4
The number next to the different options is the amount of semi-hearts of damage this attack will deal on an armored player.
This plugin uses MetricsLite, the limited-functionality version of McStats Metrics system. MetricsLite will track statistics and usage values about this plugin. Only the default values from Metrics (the one listed on Metrics' page) are tracked, such as number of players on your server, which version of the plugin you're using, amongst other things. Data collection shouldn't have any impact on the plugin's usage. If you want to opt out of data collection, you can toggle the "opt out of metrics" option in the config.yml file of this plugin's folder.
