Amazing Valiant Magic is a magic mod that adds multiple vanilla-styled magic spells to the game.
To obtain spells, the player needs to find an underground box-like structure with a mana stone inside, which upon breaking gives a mana crystal. The majority of the spells are made from these crystals, although you would need some other ingridients as well.
The majority of the spells give potion effects and are not that strong, and to get a different and more powerful type of spell you would need to get better materials with the help of the other structure this mod adds.
I recommend installing JEI for a more comfortable gameplay.
