Welcome to easyBC - a new broadcast plugin because a) the concept of a broadcast plugin hasn't been done enough yet, and b) because Hello World got boring.
I'll assume since you're here you already know how to install plugins to a Bukkit/Spigot/whatever server but in case you're uninitiated, you have to drag the .jar file in to your "plugins" folder in your server directory. If you don't know how to do that, please... don't run a server.
Once it's in there, restart your server or reload it (restarting is recommended to prevent issues) and you should see a message similar to this in your console:
If you see that, congrats! The plugin has successfully loaded. When your server is stopped you will see a similar message with instructions on what to do if the plugin is unstable or doesn't work.
Okay, so now what? You have the plugin installed so now you need to use the commands!
/ebc
If no message is entered, it will show this help message:
However if a message is entered it will broadcast it to the server and let you know it was successful.
That's the only command. I told you it was easy.
The only permission in this plugin (for now) is ebc.use which just allows the user to use the /ebc command.
Users without permission will see this message:
You can grant this permission to as many users as you want. The user performing the command will always have their username in the broadcast so anyone trolling can be caught easily.
