Description

This project was made for fun. Do not use this mod directly on one of your valuable worlds. Alternatively use Better Slabs instead.

Logo

This mod adds the same set of slabs that vanilla Minecraft provides, but in this mod, the slabs are orientable, certain orientation can become "vertical". This might click in your mind that "this is just vertical slabs", but what happens if you combine the given vertical slabs? "Rotated" blocks! Thought no actual vertical block exists but here the slabs' double type opens he ability for rotated blocks.

Vanilla Slabs?

Vanilla recipes were altered, but don't fret! Because there is a recipe to convert the slabs back to vanilla and vice-versa!

Resource Pack Compatibility

The models used are the same ones used by vanilla slabs but rotated. The texture used is also from vanilla so you can edit the texture including the modded ones!

I want my own slabs!

If you know how to code in java and sure you can make your own slab! Simply extend or create an instance of the class com.github.notjackismercury.xyslabs.block.XySlabBlock which contained in the mod jar. Then you can register it using Minecraft's Registry class.
