ModJam 2008.1 Entry - World Paint - By Wyn Price

World Paint is a mod made for Modjam. It makes the world "paintable", with the diffrent colors having diffrent effects. The list of effects can be found here

Items

World Paint adds 5 items to the game

• Paint
• Paintbrush
• Painting Boots
• Color Picker
• Paint Scrubber

Paint

Paint, unlike what would seem, is not a crafting item. Paint be thrown, and will color the area around it when it lands.
Crafting:

Paintbrush

The Paint brush can be used to paint blocks. The paint which it places down WILL NOT spread.
Crafting:

Painting boots

Wear these and wherever you walk, the color they're dyed will spread. This also means while wearing them, the color of which they have will be applied to the player

Color Picker

The color picker is used to pick a color, and then can be crafted with items to color them the right color. To open up the GUI, right click the color picker. You then can click and move the point in the color wheel, and the saturation slider at the bottem. The color result will be rendered onto the item on the left. To exit the GUI, press escape. 
The Color Picker also can be used to color these items:

• Paintbrush
• Painting Boots
• Throwable paint
• Leather Armour To color those items, simply put one of the items, and the color picker (with the picked color) into a crafting table There is currently a bug where the crafting recipe does not check how many items are in the crafting table, meaning you can put 2 color pickers in the table, or 2 of the item you want to color

Paint Scrubber

The paint scrubber can be used to remove paint from the world. Simply click the painted block to remove the paint from it, and the paint around it.

Color functionalities

All Functions are configurable

Black

Spawns hostile mobs per random block tick, with a configurable chance 

Blue

Blue is bouncy, and gives the player a jump boost 

Gray

Speeds up furnaces that are placed above a gray painted area by a configurable amount 

Green

Turns dirt to grass, applys a bonemeal effect to blocks. Causes trees to spread leaves into saplings 

Orange

Orange is incredibly slippery

Pink

Spawns non hostile mobs per random block tick, with a configurable chance 

Purple

Gives mobs strength 

Red

Burns non undead mobs, and extinguishes undead mobs 

White

Gives the invisability effect 

Yellow

Feeds the player and gives them a configurable health boost 

What means Verified?
