Woods and Mires

Description

Woods and Mires adds new biomes based on Nordic nature: pine forests, mires and fells together with their variants. It also adds new foliage to vanilla biomes.

Pine forests are taiga-like forests that are full of pine trees growing on grass and podzol.

Pine mires are flat and open with a lot of water that makes traversing the biome difficult. The biome has short pine shrubs and some taller dead pine snags growing between the spots of water.

Fells are cold and rugged areas where the vegetation is short. You might spot birch shrubs or rare ores in lakes.

There are also new flowers growing in the world. Tansies grow in mires, plains and forests. The pink fireweed grows in forests and plains. Heathers can be found growing in taigas and pine forests.
