this (side)mod introduces TMs and HMs into the game, the basic gist is outlined on the mod page along with instructions of usage

essentially you can transfer moves either one-time (using an HM) or as many times as you want (using a TM). modpack devs can change the recipes as required because it is not intended to be balanced, just fun.

you craft a TM machine, say you have a charizard with dragon claw, you transfer dragon claw onto a TM by right clicking the machine and move with it, interact with your pet rayquaza to teach it dragon claw

check https://pokemondb.net/ to figure out what moves a mon can learn from TMs and what they cant, also tutor moves can be taught if enabled in the settings

i was really pissed off by the fact that my shuckle needed TMs to learn gyro ball and toxic but they werent ingame yet so this mod is pretty much only dedicated to that
