Uphill Step Assist is a mod that simply allows you to step up blocks smoothly, as apposed to Auto-Jump which makes you jump up blocks. The number of blocks you can step up can be configured in the mods menu (with a maximum of 32.5) and if you want to turn off the step assist permanently, just use the setting in the configuration menu or file. You can also use the grave (backtick) key to toggle uphill step assist.
If you want to use this mod on a server, then it should run fine, but server side, it will have no effect. This is a Client Side mod. That said, no harm will be done by running it on a server.
If you want to use this mod in a modopack, feel free, however it would be nice if you could let me know (in the comments down below).
Be sure to turn off Auto-Jump in controls!! I can't stress this enough. If you don't then it will become jerky and won't be nearly as good or useful.
