I recommend atleast Prot 4 netherite armor and the Soul Sabre for the final boss.
Mobs:
Mage Ghost (Mage that spawns rarely in the world. Also summoned by the Overlord.)
Tank Zombie (A ticking time bomb that explodes every 1/4 hp. Drops a resistence medal. Can be found in the Soul Tower, also summoned by the Overlord)
Undead Overlord (A powerfull boss that can be summoned by crafting his spawnegg. Abilities: Chance to summon tank zombie ( minimum every 20 seconds), Chance to summon Mage Ghost and Ghost Soldiers (minimum every 30 seconds), Shoots witherskulls, shoots rotten flesh projectiles (debuffs and strikes lightning), lightning around boss occasionaly, wither skulls raining from sky occasionally. Drops a lootbag on death.)
Wither Ghost (Spawns rarely in the nether)
Structure:
Soul Tower: Can be found rarely in the overworld and in soul sand valley. Spawns many Mages and Wither skeletons. Has very good loot.
Nether Dungeon: Can be found just below nether roof.
Weapons:
Rotten Spear (throwable spear for early game)
Soul Sabre (lifesteal sword for midgame)
Soul Sceptre (Ranged Multi-projectile wand for late game)
