TRMT: Community Port
This is an unofficial community port of **The Roads More Travelled (TRMT)** for Minecraft 26.1.x on Fabric.
I really like the original mod and the work by milkucha. This fork exists because 26.1.x support was mentioned in the original roadmap, and I wanted to help make the mod usable for players on newer versions while the official update is being worked on.
This is not meant to replace the original project or take credit for it. It is a good-faith community contribution.
## What TRMT does
TRMT adds gradual terrain erosion. Blocks that players walk over repeatedly begin to wear down, creating natural-looking paths over time.
This port keeps the core idea:
- Grass, dirt, and sand can erode from player movement.
- Eroded blocks use the existing TRMT custom block assets.
- Bonemeal, hoes, and shovels interact with eroded blocks.
- Erosion data persists in the world.
- Works in singleplayer and on servers when installed on both client and server.

This fork targets:
- Minecraft 26.1.x
- Fabric Loader 0.19.x
- Fabric API 0.147.x / 0.148.x
- Java 25
## Notes
This is an early port and may still have rough edges.
Known limitations:
- Brewing recipes for the Potion of Lightness may need a future data-driven recipe update.
- The old update/download screen mixin is disabled for compatibility.
- Servers require the mod on both the server and client because TRMT adds custom blocks.
