Description
TooMuchOcean
By Valoeghese

TooMuchOcean is a mod for the fabric modloader which allows the
user to alter a config file to change the chance that Minecraft will replace
ocean with land during world generation. This does not effect small islands.
The mod is compatible with biome mods using the vanilla generator such as Terrestria and Traverse.
The Config:
- On the first startup, the mod will create a config file (toomuchocean.json) in the config directory. The chance of ocean replacement with land can be tweaked by altering the replacementChance value therein. Two other config options are also generated.
- The replacementChance value is a decimal value from 0.0 (most ocean) to 1.0 (least ocean). The default value on creation is 0.3, and the "vanilla" value of this number is 0.5.
- The continentChance value is a decimal value from 0.0 (no large continents) to 1.0 ([almost] all large continents). The default and vanilla value is 0.1.
- The alwaysContinentAtOrigin value is a boolean (true or false). It specifies whether the continent tile around 0, 0 should always be land.
FAQ:
- Q: Can I use this mod in a modpack? A: Yes :)
- Q: Will this mod be ported to <insert outdated Minecraft version here> A: No (I don't have the time), though feel free to port it yourself :)
- Q: Can you make a forge version?; A: The mod heavily relies on the ability to easily change Minecraft's code through a system called mixin, which is not available in forge. To recreate this in forge would require my making a coremod, which would make the mod much more complex. I don't have the time to do this, so I can't make a version for forge.
