Description
So, you know that feeling of uncertainty? Is the Metalurgy Tartarite pickaxe better or worse than the Galacticraft Desh pickaxe? That's not even taking into account the Thermal Expansion Invar pickaxe, the Mekanism pickaxes. . . Oh yeah, Mekanism, what about paxels?!
This mod adds one simple thing, a tooltip that tells you a tool's Max Durability, Efficiency, Harvest Level and Enchantability. It should even display information for each tool type for multi-tools. (Shown while SHIFT is pressed in version 0.3.0 and older; shown when Advanced Tooltips are shown in version 0.4.0)
Now it doesn't work with all tools, but it should work with Vanilla-Like tools. Generally, pickaxes, shovels, axes, and paxels, it will not work on Tinkers' Construct tools.
With version 0.4.0, The Tooltip Tool now works with swords, armour, bows, hoes, and more!
Version 0.4.0 requires a Forge 1.9 version from 1887 onward.
Version 0.3.0 is compatible with Forge 1.7.10 versions from 1448 onward.
Version 0.2.0 is compatible with Forge 1.7.10 versions from 1208 and prior to 1448.
It is only useful on when installed on the Client, however:
Versions 0.2.0 and older will crash when loaded on the server,
Versions 0.3.0 and newer will do nothing when loaded on the server.
Feel free to use in a modpack, notification is appreciated, but not required.
