Buy some nice Ancient Shards at a mason, maybe it'll take a while but if you have 8 shards you'll be fine.
Use the Ancient Shards put them in a crafting table and a stone in the middle like this:
If you have done all the steps take the stoneface block place it and right click it. When it has summoned you can finally tame it with a piece of coal. It will now follow you and attack mobs or animals you punched or you got attacked of. You can also ride your Stoneface and shoot mobs with a bow to make your Stoneface walk
