Description

Being tired of unexpected attacks of professional PvP-ers?

Hate creepers sneaking behind you and blowing up you and your marvelous creations?

Spending countless hours hunting for slimes, endermen, ozelots, and all kinds of other mobs?

The Sixth Sense is here to solve all these problems for you!

The Sixth Sense

This client-side mod constantly monitors your surroundings in the world loaded from the server and warns you on presence ofother players in the neighborhood, generates annoying alerts if there is a creeper in a dangerous proximity as well assearches for a user-defined mobs or other entities. All alerts and warnings come in the form of chat messages and sound alarms, so you have no chance to miss your enemy or creeper even when AFK. As soon as your Minecraft client receives from a server information about a new player in range or a new mob (if set so) you will hear the respective sound alert and see the message in your chats. Also, the critical information about players nearby and creepers is constantly displayed in the left side of your screen. You can turn off this mod when playing on some public servers that disallow some of its functionalities.

FEATURES:

  • Detecting other players in range (visible from your client)
  • Maintaining lists of friends and enemies (lists are saved separately for each server; those who kill you will be added automatically to your enemies; your friends are highlighted with green, enemies with red, neutral with yellow)
  • Warning on creeper dangerous proximity (sound and text alerts)
  • Searching for a user-defined list of mobs (the user is notified with sound and text when a desired mob is in range, i.e., visible by the client)

  • Example: Creeper 32: w12 n7 d29 means that there is a creeper 32 blocks away from the player, 12 blocks west, 7 blocks north, 29 blocks down.

TRIVIA:

  • THIS IS NOT AN X-RAY OR SIMILAR MOD! The information that this mod displays is hard to interpret to find and fight other players in real time. This mod CANNOT BE USED to find rare blocks like diamonds, emerald, gold, etc.
  • The goal of this mod is to help players to avoid unnecessary meetings with hardcore killers, be aware of dangerous creepers nearby and to save some time while searching for some rare mobs.
  • This mod generates only text messages and sound alerts. It DOES NOT RENDER an X-RAY image or highlight somehow an entity.

TYPICAL USE CASES:

  • Avoiding or hiding from hostile PvP-ers: as soon as your enemy or some stranger is in range, you will hear an "anvil placement" or "anvil usage" sound (loud BOOOM!). So, you will have more time to hide or run away. The information about players nearby is displayed on the top-left corner. This feature may save your life, your stuff and gained XP.
  • Avoiding creepers: all of us know that creepers are especially nasty creatures. They silently approach from behind in a very wrong moment (for instance, when you are digging for some diamonds on the shore of a lava lake, building some complex red circuitry, etc.) and explode (sometimes wiping out your structures and pushing your into lava). The alert system of this mod will not leave you in peace until you get rid of all the creepers in your surroundings (radius 23 blocks)
  • Looking for some rare mobs: sometimes finding an enderman, slime, ozelot, etc. may be a serious pain. You can add the specific mob to sensors and the mod will notify you as soon as your mob of interest will come in range.
