This mod adds a bunch of new items to make vanilla bees and honey more useful!
I really like the new bees that got added into vanilla minecraft, but I feel like their uses are very limited! Sure, you can craft honey blocks and honeycomb blocks, but beyond that, what are they useful for? Not much!
That's why I created this mod, the bees knees mod (yes, it's a stupid bee pun), which is quite literally the bees knees (mod)! It adds a few new items, one new block and one very special item that I feel like only very few, if any, mods actually add into the game!
The latest version of this mod works for Minecraft Version: 1.15.2
Please let me know whether my mod works correctly on servers, as that is entirely untested currently!

Now, let's get to the good part then!
This mod, in total "only" adds 1 Block and 4 Items, but one of those items is very special!
Blocks:
Honey Essence Block
The only block added by this mod! It behaves exactly like the vanilla honey block, it's nothing special. It is crafted by filling the entire crafting grid with 9 honey essences (the item version of this block)! It is used to craft the Queen Bee's Wings and the Bees Knees and also to repair them!
Items:
Honey Sandwich
Throw a regular bread and a honey bottle into the crafting grid in any shape you like and you get the honey sandwich! It's the best of both worlds, slightly better saturation than the bread, replenishes the hunger value of the honey, but more importantly: Like the honey bottle this removes the poison effect and instantly heals 2 hearts when eaten! Because of this it can also be eaten when your hunger bar is already full!
Honey Essence
This is the item used to craft the Honey Essence Block out of! You get it by smelting a regular honey block in a furnace! It can also be eaten, it works pretty much just like the honey sandwich, but it also grants 1.5 minutes of absorption to the player after eating it and has a 30% chance to also add a 1 minute luck effect on top of that!
Queen Bee's Wings
This is a very special item. It's a custom elytra! You can fly around with it like you can with the regular elytra, however you don't need firework rockets to boost! Just hit your jump button mid-air to boost at the cost of 1 durability point! It also has increased durability compared to the regular elytra in general. Also, apply unbreaking to it for a chance to not use up durability while flying/boosting! Crafted out of an elytra + honey essence blocks, check the image provided above for further instructions!
The Bee's Knees
Yes, this item indeed is, quite literally, the Bee's Knees! Excuse the pun, but this item actually is quite useful! These bee themed kneepads are useless as combat armor (just as the Queen Bee's Wings), however if you wear these while also wearing the wings, boosting with your wings won't cost any durability at all! Crafted out of honey essence blocks like you would craft any other leg armor!

How to Install
Download Forge & Java
Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.
Prepare
Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.
Add Mods
Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder
Enjoy
You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
