Description
Control from how far special blocks like chests can be seen!
Now with a Slider in the Video Settings Option Screen!
Since 1.16, a option similar to the Entity Distance Scale has been added to the video screen options.
You may have seen this yourself: A chest is disappearing when you walk away from it, despite your render distance being cranked up.
Minecraft has hardcoded the limit for most of these blocks with tile entities to 64 blocks, some like the beacon have 256 blocks.
You can use this mod to reduce the distance (if you have low FPS) or crank it up (if you dislike disappearing blocks)
This mod allows the user to scale the render distance of special renderers
Since 1.16.1, there is a slider in the Video settings screen.
In previous versions, you would have to edit the text file directly
