I build this mod, because I liked playing in stoneblock packs.
This one uses the premise that was introduced in Stoneblock 3 and 4 where you have stone, then nether, then end.
A complete StoneBlock-style world generation mod for NeoForge 1.21.1
Built to match the world profile used by StoneBlock 3 and StoneBlock 4, Stone World Generation replaces the standard overworld with a fully solid stone world — no sky, no surface, just rock in every direction. Designed to drop into any modpack that wants that StoneBlock feel without being locked into a specific pack.
Instead of the normal overworld, you spawn inside a solid stone world divided into concentric biome rings that radiate outward from the center. Each ring transitions smoothly into the next using custom blend biomes, creating a natural progression from safe starter area out into increasingly dangerous territory.
| Ring | Biome | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Center | Stone Safe | This is where you spawn...relatively safe. |
| 1st | Stone | Standard stone, normal mob spawns begin |
| Blend | Stone → Deepslate gradient | Smooth visual transition |
| 2nd | Deepslate | Darker stone, harder ores |
| Blend | Deepslate → Nether blend | |
| 3rd | Nether | Nether blocks and atmosphere underground |
| Blend | Nether → End blend | |
| 4th | End | End stone composition |
| Blend | End → Deep Dark blend | |
| 5th | Deep Dark / Eternal | The outer void — ancient debris, maximum danger |
Each biome ring has its own ore set placed at appropriate depths and densities:
All Trial Chamber loot tables are customized — more progression-appropriate rewards including enchanted books, diamonds, gold, iron, wind charges, and experience bottles. Ominous vaults scale up with better gear and higher diamond/emerald counts.
Drop the JAR into your mods folder. No configuration required. Works best as part of a StoneBlock-style modpack where the overworld is expected to be a stone void.
This mod replaces the overworld dimension. Do not use in a world where you want a normal overworld to exist alongside it.
MIT — free to use, modify, and include in any modpack. Credit appreciated but not required.
