A Minecraft Forge mod for 1.20.1 inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7.
What is this?
This mod adds the Steel Ball from Steel Ball Run into Minecraft. You throw it, it comes back. Simple concept, weird execution — exactly how it should be.
Getting the Steel Ball
You can't craft it. You get it by killing a fully armored Husk while riding a horse. That's the whole condition. Husks have a 5% chance to spawn with a full armor set on naturally. When you kill one mounted, it drops the ball. The armor doesn't drop — just the ball.
How it works
Hold right-click to spin it up in your hand, release to throw. The longer you charge, the faster it flies. It always comes back to your inventory after it's done.
When it gets close to an enemy mob it locks on automatically, lifts them into the air and deals magic damage while they're suspended. Damage scales with how long you charged it.
If it hits a block it bounces off. If it gets stuck inside one it starts breaking through it — harder blocks take longer, bedrock just sends it back.
Your own tamed animals — wolves, horses, parrots, whatever — get healed instead of attacked. It orbits them and restores health with heart particles.
Mounted players — if you throw it while riding and aim downward, it flies toward your mount and triples its movement speed for a few seconds. Living mounts also get healed over time. Boats and minecarts just go fast.
If you somehow have a Steel Ball in both hands, only one gets thrown — chosen randomly.
