This project aims at rebalancing Spartan Weaponry, adding several new traits. It's generally work in progress at the moment and is mainly made for Abyssal Ascent modpack.
Currently the mod adds:
Random crits system (jumping attacks no longer deal critical damage, instead there is a 10% chance for any attack to be a crit, influenced by certain weapon types)
New traits:
Chopping: After not attacking for 5 seconds, next hit is guaranteed to be critical with higher damage
(Applied to Katanas, Halberds, Battleaxes)
Crushing: Crits are guaranteed but deal less damage
(Applied to Battle hammers, Quarterstaves, Warhammers, Flanged maces, Cestus)
Slashing: Crits cause a short burst of haste
(Applied to Longswords, Greatswords, Glaives, Sabers, Daggers)
Piercing: Crits cause 50% of the damage to ignore armor and protection, crit chance is increased to 25%
(Applied to Pikes, Spears, Lances, Rapiers, Parrying daggers, Scythes)
Short: Reach is reduced
(Applied to Battle hammers, Battleaxes, Daggers, Parrying Daggers, Cestus, Warhammers)
