Smallfolks adds a trades economy to Minecraft. Pick a profession, earn skill through real in-world actions, refine raw materials into trade goods at a Workshop, and convert them into coins passively via a Sell Station. Built for the WesterCraft Official modpack on Fabric 1.20.1.
Sign up at the Worktable, do your trade in the world, gain XP and rank up, refine goods at the Workshop, load the Sell Station, collect coins over time.
Worktable — Choose or switch your active profession. Switching costs coins and has a cooldown. Shows your current rank and XP progress.
Workshop — Converts raw inputs into labelled trade goods (Common / Fine / Masterwork). Speed and quality scale with your skill rank.
Sell Station — A passive coin furnace. Converts trade goods into Coins JE currency over time. Owner-bound, upgradeable, and capped daily to prevent inflation.
Gathering: Farmer, Fisherman, Forager, Shepherd, Lumberjack, Miner
Crafting: Baker, Cook, Brewer, Vintner, Herbalist, Cheesemaker, Mason, Carpenter, Blacksmith, Jeweler
XP is earned only from genuine in-world actions — block breaks, fishing, harvests. No automation exploit.
Lower third of levels — Common quality. Base workshop speed and coin rate.
Middle third of levels — Fine quality. Faster output, higher coin multiplier.
Upper third of levels — Masterwork quality. Fastest output, maximum coin rate.
The XP curve is fully configurable per server.
- Daily coin cap per Sell Station — no infinite minting
- XP only from real player actions, with anti-AFK hooks on workshops
- One active profession at a time, switching has a coin cost and cooldown
- Stations and rank-gated gear are owner-bound — alts gain nothing
Coins JE — Currency output (soft dependency, falls back to a configurable item if absent)
Farm & Charm — Farmer, Baker, and Cheesemaker inputs
Brewery — Brewer trade goods
Vinery — Vintner trade goods
Candlelight — Cook and Innkeeper meals
HerbalBrews — Herbalist teas and tinctures
Meadow — Shepherd and Cheesemaker inputs
