Slugterra

What File?

As you can probably see there are two types of file you could download; the slugterra version and the SERVERBUILD version.

If you plan on running or joining a server with the mod please use the SERVERBUILD file if not just install the slugterra version.

The SERVERBUILD file is only for 1.12.2 currently!

The Begining

To begin you need to put a torch in any slot of the crafting table. This will give you a slugterra portal igniter. Then make a nether portal shape out of cobblestone and ignite it with the portal igniter. Now you can enter slugterra.

Capturing slugs

To capture a slug you will need to make a canister. Then you need to find a slug.

Slugs spawn near patches of mushrooms found in the slugterra dimension. Currently, there are only 4 slug types, enigmo, infurnus, ramstone and hoprock.

To capture a slug simply punch it with your canister. It will die and drop a filled canister. You only need 1 canister as they are reusable.

Slinging slugs

To sling slugs you will need to create a blaster by making a blaster base, body and head with the following recipes.

Then put them in any order into a crafting table.

Then place a filled canister in your offhand and right click with your blaster. You now have a filled blaster. Now place your filled canister into your inventory and fire you blaster like a bow.

Your slug should be dropped on the ground nearby where it hit so you can collect it again.

Each slug has a different power: Infurnus:big explosion, hoprock:little explosion, enigmo:glows and blinds, ramstone:deas heavy damage and knockback, Flatulorhinkus:Poisons, Bubaleone:levitates, frostcrawler:freezes, narwaddle:big freeze

Settlements

In the slugterra dimension, there are a variety of settlements.

Friendly base: a small blue coloured base with 2 friendly slingers.

Enemy base: a small red coloured base with 2 enemy slingers and some loot.

Trader base: a small green coloured base with a trader.

Server

I am currently setting up a server using this mod. I will release a server build version so you can play on the server. The server will be in 1.12.2 that is why I need a separate server build.

To join the server you need the LATEST version of the serverbuild.

Its IP will be  slugmc.ddns.net
