SIMPLY STONEWORK
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overview
Simply Stonework is a small mod that adds multiple different stone types to Minecraft. Currently, it adds four: Schist (blue), Norite (green), Pegmatite (yellow), and Shale (purple).
These stone types can be found in veins throughout the world, similarly to Vanilla stones such as Andesite, Diorite, and Granite. They can generate between layers 0-79.
Each stone type can be crafted into Polished, Bricks, and Chiseled Bricks versions. The Vanilla stones also now have Bricks and Chiseled Bricks variants, complete with crafting recipes. All of these blocks have Stairs, Slabs, and Walls versions as well.
Simply Bricks Update (2.0.0)
Simply Bricks is the first major update to Simply Stonework. You can now craft Terracotta Bricks -- essentially, normal Minecraft bricks in each of the familiar 16 dye colors. To do so, simply place 8 bricks around the edges of a crafting table (like a furnace) and add the dye of your choice in the center!
Skyblock and Created Worlds Support
Simply Stonework now features a crafting recipe for Schist (shapeless crafting, two Cobblestone and two Blue Dye) so that folks who play Skyblock, have already-in-progress worlds, or otherwise run into issues finding Simply Stonework stone types in the world, can access all of the stone types!
Licensing and Modpack Use
Simply Stonework is licensed under the GPUv3 license, which basically means you can do whatever you like with it as long as it's open-source.
The base Andesite, Diorite, and Granite textures were created by Drullkus, and used with permission as per the Chisel Mod license.
Feel free to use this mod in a modpack! You don't have to ask me.
