Simple Silver and Steel

Description

This mod adds Silver and steel, obviously. you can find silver ore at around the same level as gold, on a semi-rare basis. You can craft the smelted ingots into tools and armor that is just under diamond, so that you can fill out your armor set with better gear until you find enough diamonds to make a full diamond set.

To get steel, you have to first craft unrefined steel with coal and iron. then, you have to smelt that unrefined steel in a blast furnace only, and then you get a steel ingot. While you can't craft tools or armor out of steel directly, you can combine it in a smithing table with chainmail armor to get reinforced chainmail, which you can combine with iron armor to get reinforced iron armor, which has almost the same stats as silver, but with more knockback resistance, and little to no enchantability. as an added bonus, all steel related items (except the armor) is fire-proof like netherite.

The final resource this mods adds is selvite, a special new alloy made from steel, silver, and crying obsidian. to get selvite, you have to use 4 steel ingots, 4 silver ingots, and 1 crying obsidian to craft a single selvite shrapnel. You then have to smelt that selvite shrapnel in a blast furnace to get un-refined selvite, and then you need to add 4 unrefined selvite into a crafting table with 4 diamonds (similar with netherite scrap and gold) to finally get 1 selvite ingot. Selvite is an upgrade to netherite, adding more defense, durability, knockback resistance, and armor toughness to armor, adds faster mining speeds and more durability to tools, and adds more attack damage, durability, and less attack cooldown to swords. In addition to that, selvite axes also have more attack damages, and selvite hoes have very fast attack speed.
