Description

As is known, in Minecraft multiplayer mode, the frequently used way of in-game communication is chat.

However, there's no theory to support this way of communication.

How, without any device or any personal superpower?

This light-weight mod added Signal to Minecraft overworld, generated by a tiny communicator(install JEI to check the recipe).

With the communicator in hand, several (5, in v1.0.0) types of signals could be sent in three ranges: within 1km, over-dimension, and over-server.

Now the below types of signals could be sent:

  • Distress
  • Need Resource
  • Need Manpower
  • Found Threat
  • Found Resource

With extra features:

  • Display the sender's location via OPS(Overworld Positioning System);
  • Anonymous (optional);
  • Display the dimension the sender is in;
  • Connect&control the LRSS in Art? Artillery!.
  • ......

ATTENTION:

  • The mod is developed via MCreator(before 1.0.3)
  • Most sounds came from a famous game Starsector
  • You CAN add the mod to your modpack, but I'll be glad if you tell me first :D
  • For server keepers, it may be a better choice to disable the default chat function and install a proximity voice chat mod(like henkelmax's simple voice chat?)

Hope you enjoy the mod!
