RNGTech brings itemisation from ARPG to the modded minecraft scene. You may craft the same machine multiple times and get different roles depending on how affixes/rarity and such roll
Machines, is equiped with gear (Crush head, heating core and other stuff). Each with their own quirks and identity. It also introduce modular tooling to cover the resource gathering part.
Machines (limited to furnace and crusher) also comes with their own passive trees.
This may sound complex but I belive overall it will bring quality of life to your machine park. Instead of always having to replace cables/machines and what not during your progress. You can simply switch out singular components.
Cable and universal connector allows to you transfer energy, items and fluids. Cable is dirt cheap to make. Cost/limitations are instead moved to the actual connector. Where each type of transfer and limits is determined by the inserted "connector". This allows you to easily upgrade as the demand increase without having to remake your whole cable network..
Universal connector also support tunneling AE2 and Refined Storage over the same cable network.
