NOTE:
> This mod requires CuriosAPI-Continuation since 1.21 or CuriosAPI for previous versions to work!
> Since 1.19.2 this mod requires OctoLib to work!

Relics is an easy-to-install drag-and-drop mod that introduces dozens of unique items with complex and well-thought-out mechanics. Each relic can unlock its true potential both when used on its own and in combination with other relics or even mods. We designed each relic with the understanding that your modpack won’t consist of just our mod, so the balance automatically adjusts to fit the needs of your modpack. This makes Relics a perfect fit for both vanilla-style modpacks and those where health and damage values reach into the thousands.

Minecraft isn’t infinite; eventually, all game content runs out, and players need to find their own ways to have fun. We kept this in mind when designing Relics, aiming to make the experience enjoyable for as long as possible. With our leveling system and randomized stats, no two relics will ever feel the same. Players have the freedom to tailor their relics to their liking, creating a virtually endless number of unique relic combinations.

With this mod you get:
  •  25 relics with unique and complex mechanics
  • An MMO-like system of random stats
  • Improvements and customizations for your relics
  • Progressive active ability system
  • ... and more!

Q: What about a port to Fabric/Quilt?
A: Currently, a port isn’t planned. However, it’s possible once Relics reaches a "finished phase"—if I don’t lose interest by then.

Q: What about a port to other Minecraft versions?
A: Every port to a new Minecraft version comes with a major update to Relics, as it often requires fundamental changes to the mod. I’ll start working on a port to a newer version once all the content for the current update is publicly released. As for older versions, no backports will be made.

Q: Can you add a guidebook or something similar?
A: I’m not a fan of guidebooks, so it’s not planned. However, you’re free to add one yourself to your modpack or create a public wiki if you like.

Q: Will content from newer Minecraft versions of Relics be ported to older ones?
A: No, new content will only be added to the latest Minecraft version that Relics supports. Older versions will only receive bug fixes.

Q: May I create addons for Relics?
A: You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it for now. The Relics API is still unstable and changes frequently. It’s best to wait until things stabilize.

Q: Can I create a public fork or legacy version of your mod?
A: No, you can’t. But if you want to make one for private use (like playing with friends without publishing it to CurseForge or other sites), that’s fine.

Q: Can I use your mod in a modpack?
A: Yes, feel free to include it.

Q: Can I repost your mod to another site?
A: No, you cannot.

Q: Can I use your code as a reference for my mod?
A: While Relics is licensed under ARR, you’re allowed to reference the code. Just please avoid copying it directly (no Ctrl+C → Ctrl+V).
