Reduced Food Drops

Description

To give more importance to the survival aspect and to make food gathering a little more difficult, this mod changes the food drops of all animals that drop meat and the food drops of all cultivable vegetables and crops. Instead of storing tons of meat and vegetables in chests, you now get meat shreds instead of meat and vegetables- and crop fragments instead of vegetables and crops.The trigger to remove vegetables and crop items from your inventory and give you the fragments is when you pick up an item from the ground. Because potatoes and carrots themselves are required for planting and do not have their own seeds, planting potatoes and carrots no longer makes them profitable. So your food choice should be meat, bread or eggs.You can combine two meat shreds into one meat bundle and three vegetables or crop fragments into one vegetable or crop in the crafting grid. You can cook both meat shreds and meat bundles in the oven. Meat bundles have a higher nutritional value than meat shreds. To add value to the food, add salt. Salt can be made with four cobblestones at the workbench. It is not recommended to eat the meat shreds or meat bundles raw, otherwise you will get dizzy. Eggs are now edible. The eggs can be cooked in the oven. Add salt to the cooked eggs to get spiced eggs. Very rare In the landscape you can find wild potatoes and wild carrots plants. Both drop two fragments each. In survival mode, type "rfd" in the just enough items search bar to see all items and recipes.
