Description

Red Shark

Features

Currently this mod has one feature, which is packet logging. When the client or server receives a packet, an entry will be made in your game folder in the packets.log file. This log entry will contain the name of the mod that sent the packet, the size of the packet in bytes, and the name of the packet class. The following is an example log entry.

Recieved a packet from gamestages. It has 38 bytes of data. Type is class net.darkhax.gamestages.packet.PacketSyncClient.

FaQ

Q: What's with the name?

A: This mod's name is playing on the name of WireShark which is a tool for sniffing web packets. Red Shark is short for Redstone Shark.

Q: Is this a core mod?

A: No, this mod is not a core mod. While there are core mods like Opis that have similar features, I use a different approach to reading game data.

Q: Can you add X?

A: Feel free to make suggestions, however keep in mind that I maintain over 50 different mods so I may not have the time to add your request. It doesn't hurt to ask though.
