Description
NOTE: I tried contacting the two original authors regarding the distribution of this update through all of the means available to me. Unfortunately I was not able to hear back from them. My only contribution to this mod is allowing it to run on 1.12.2!
I really needed a mod like this one for a modpack idea, but unfortunately Random Restockable Crates by Winter_Grave and Iskall85 had not seen an update since 2017. Therefore I set off to learn java and how to write Minecraft mods... and here we are!
Random Restockable Crates is an amazing mod by Winter_Grave and Iskall85 which allows you to place indestructible crates that respawn their loot after a set amount of time. This loot can be controlled by a .config file which determines the refresh rate of each of the crate tiers and their loot tables. You heard that right! There are four tiers of crates each with independent loot tables and refresh intervals!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to port the animation of the crate opening/closing and playing a sound when you interact with it but other than that all of the features should be working.
Tier 1 , Tier 2 , Tier 3 , Tier 4
Original description:
Ths mod adds 4 tiers of crates only available in creative, that will be restocked with configurable loot every interval.
It is intented to use by modded map makers, to set up loot to be collected by players every often.
The configuration file must be modified to include the items required for eveyr type of crate. The items can be vanilla or odded using their named id, for example minecraft:stone_sword.
